The date for the rained out Fireworks Show of the SC
Festival of Stars will be on Labor Day Holiday weekend-Sunday August 31st
starting at 6:30 pm at the Ninety Six Town Park. The fireworks show will start
at dusk, around 9:15 pm. The Night Affair Band will play their long awaited
show on stage beginning at 7:30 pm. Other music and entertainment will come on
prior. A small handful of food vendors will be onsite including Ice Cream,
Turkey legs, BBQ, Hash, Italian Ice, Funnel Cakes, Corn dogs and other tasty
treats. The event is always free and family friendly. Bring chairs and or
Art & Agriculture is a group exhibition involving twelve regional artists whose works portray themes in the agricultural landscape and shared natural resources within South Carolina. The participating artists include Jennifer Black, JB Boyd, Debbie Broadway, Jeffrey Callaham, Tracie Morris Easler, Trey Finney, Shelley Grund, Diarmuid Kelly, Brian MacCormack, Mary McCullah, Denise Waldrep, and Faith Wheeler. Exhibit dates are July 15th - August 29th in the Countybank Gallery of the Arts Center of Greenwood
Three of Nashville’s most talented singer/songwriters will
bring a little taste of Music City to Greenwood when they perform an “Evening in the Round.” The intimate night of acoustic music,
starring Grammy award winner Linda Davis
and hit songwriters Lang Scott and Bill Whyte, will be injected with hits,
humor and a whole lot of down home appeal. “Evening
in the Round” is set for Saturday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Greenwood
