Greenwood has over 700 hotel rooms to accommodate your next meeting or sports event and offers numerous options for meeting and conference space. Whether your occasion is large or small, the Greenwood Regional Tourism and Visitors Bureau is ready and willing to assist you with your facilities’ requirements.

The American Legion can accommodate 275-300 people for a seated function and 300 people for presentations. Must use the facility’s food service for catering and bar needs.

The renovated Federal Building is now the home of the Arts Council.  With 25,000 square feet of usable space, the building offers an exciting home for the arts as well as key meeting space in Greenwood. Camp Fellowship

Situated on 133 acres of lakeside land, Camp Fellowship offers lodging as well as meeting facilities. The Fraser Chapel is a large meeting room with a stage-area. This building also provides a climbing wall, sure to keep summer campers entertained. The Conference Center meeting room provides a conference table and chairs, as well as sofas and a stone fireplace and accommodates 40-50. The Retreat House and Cabin both have meeting rooms and screened porches overlooking the lake.

The John Drummond and Holly Self Drummond Environmental Education and Conference Center is approximately 34' x 23'. The space can accommodate 272 or 126 seated. While the conference center features catering facilities, on site catering is not currently available. This lakeside facility is available for special events year round.



Greenwood Country Club

The newly remodeled Club is located just two minutes from downtown Greenwood.  Greenwood Country Club specializes in everything from private business meeting rooms to large wedding receptions as well as rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid luncheons and reunions. They can accommodate very large groups of 300 or more. The Club offers a main dining room, three smaller meeting rooms, two larger meeting rooms, and a main bar.  The Club House has a wide variety of food service options from their Chef’s exquisite creations to a more casual fare.

Lander University

Lander University has a range of facilities for any meeting or event. There are small classrooms and large lecture halls available for meetings. Most classrooms come equipped with a video projection system with PowerPoint/video presentation capabilities. The Cultural Center Auditorium is a theatre/multi-use facility that seats 630 people. The Finis Horne Arena can seat 2500 attendees for sporting events and can also be used for banquets, concerts, and graduation ceremonies. Concert and performance settings can seat 3000 people, and table seating for 500 is available for banquets. Lander also features an outdoor amphitheatre that accommodates up to 500. Located close to the University, Cambridge Hall is a historic home owned by the university and is available but has limited meeting and dining space. Catering is available through Aramark.



Little River Multicultural Complex

One of the newest meeting facilities in Greenwood, Little River Multicultural Complex, provides groups of all sizes with top-notch meeting space. The gymnasium can accommodate assembly seating of approximately 1500 people and can seat approximately 600 banquet-style. The facility also houses 6 classrooms or break-out space, accommodating 60 people in each. The conference room is complete with a kitchenette and will seat a maximum of 20 people. The dining hall can accommodate about 175 people and has a full industrial kitchen that can store a 7 course meal for 1400 people. Each meeting room has AV capabilities with an LCD screen. In addition, there are computers with internet access on site, as well as an outdoor speaker system, men and women’s locker rooms with showers, and enhanced security features. The staff is happy to help with any of your meeting needs.

The James C. Self Conference Center is 13,746 square feet, with meeting rooms, auditoriums, kitchens, a deck, and a patio. The conference rooms range in size and can seat between 20 to 180 people. The Continuing Education Building has traditional classroom facilities available for use. The college also has six County Center Locations available for industry to use for educational programs.

jon holloway's studio, Sundance Gallery, plays host to numerous receptions, meetings, and concerts each year and is a suitable meeting space for approximately 150-200 people.  jon's photographs have been nationally/internationally exhibited an collected by museums, private and corporate collections.  jon has also renovated 2 of the historic buildings in the Emerald Triangle.
